Its just more lies. The baby boomers payed taxes all along. Now its time to collect. Government mismanaged these funs and filled their pockets.

  • UnderstandingCuresMe:

All of those baby boomers payed taxes in their lives. So now the government should have saved that money to pay them back. Its government that mismanaged the funds and the people should not be held accountable for governments carelessness. Now government is simply trying to confuse and shift the blame that its the people’s fault. Classic swindle of lies so government can keep power over the people and keep dumbing them down.

I totally agree Tsyoka. Both parties are taking this country down a path that will inevitably destroy our Constitution and Bill of Rights. One party advocates big government (Democrats) and the other advocates the big corporate model(Republicans). Middle America is being destroyed at the hands of this big gov/big biz model which by definition is Fascism. Our founders would be appalled at what has been done to this country by the powerful elites on Wall Street and in Washington DC…

  • lndac02:

thats a fair point Tsyoka. Both parties are to blame. I blame the electorate mostly for not holding the executive to account. When Presidents from Reagan onwards have been giving away money…People should have asked “how is this going to be paid for”? Shipping out jobs to china & Mexico hasn’t helped so the big corporate giants are also responsible….the reason..GREED everyone wants the good life and lots of money without asking how they got it.

  • Tsyoka:

Be careful Indac02…It’s not JUST the tax breaks. We also have a system of unsustainable social programs to consider as well. If you focus just on the tax breaks, you blame Republicans. If you focus just on the Social Programs you blame Democrats.

The reality is that BOTH parties have completely abandoned any semblance of financial sense and make promises to the American people that are completely ludicrous.

It’s not a Red vs Blue issue… its wise vs foolish; sane vs insane….

  • vanfarowe:

Amen the amount the debt the federal government has and expects future generations to pay is immoral.

  • EMPIRE0FLIES:

Notice they say nothing about the FEDERAL RESERVE’s control of money and credit as the cause of our demise. Elitist propaganda.

  • FriedDaisy:

Does any one think the manufactured financial crisis that’s costing a few trillion dollars has something to do with the Federal Government & those who underwrite it trying to get out of the 7 trillion dollar debt it owes in medicare & social security to the hard working baby boomers- who were heavily taxed to pay for these program – when they retire?

If the powers-that-be had to make good on these programs the investors can expect decreasing dividends; and you know they can’t have that!

  • gow75:

wow, look at today god they were so wrong. fucking idiots

  • esoeso122:

    Interesting.

A Generation of greed gives up debt about as easy as a Generation of war gives up hate Good Luck USA

  • lordgaladedrid:

medicare, social security, derivatives, lerveraging….the entire system is going to expolde – and its going to be sooo messy.

  • lndac02:

Americans have kept voting in politicans who promise tax breaks without wondering or caring how these politicans are acheiving the breaks. The Repo man is at the door of America Incorporated, and he wants all his money back!

  • lndac02:

I found that comment truly depressing. forgetting all the ecomonics and fiscal issue, that is disgusting that the chinese government is not trickling enough of the wealth down to the workers that they don’t have to live like rats in a cage. I have always found it ironic that china is supposed to be run along communist principals is the now run like a capalist’s paradise but without the same freedoms as a democracy. workers no matter where they live deserve a decent quality of life,

  • 505badgolfer:

There are millions of Americans who have been dismayed about the state of government finances at least since the time of the Grace Commission in the 1980’s. Great public servants such as Pete Peterson and David Walker have tried to warn of the impending crisis to no avail. Millions of Americans have voted for politicians who have promised fiscal restraint – but after being elected they ignore all fiscal responsibility. The financial promises made by American politicians are simply not sustainable

  • jimmnaca:

I love how only 11,000 people have watched this, yet 50 million have watched all the Rhinna videos. Americans truly don’t care about the real issues facing this country

  • nHautamaki:

I live in China, so I know what kind of lifestyle Americans will have to accept if they think they’re going to compete with the Chinese in manufacturing. Do you realise that 6500 people can live in an apartment block that takes up the same space as 16 houses in a suburb? And their apartment is within walking distance of the factory so they don’t have to have cars. That’s the kind of social reorganization it will take for America to compete with China. Good luck!

  • jnycnuk:

the wealth of america will start to move offshore since the rich don’t give a damn about the country that gave them the wealth. the poor will be left to fight for survival.

  • tomwatkins49:

I hope Americans, haven’t become so self centered, that we will await a sacrifice free solution, facing the problem too late to avoid the ship wreck.

  • Hiyisal:

With the number of extraneous items in our saturated, drunken culture of excess, we don’t even know the difference between “Want” and “Need.” I hate to say it, but Karl Marx kinda predicted this because the capitalist system is run by those who can guarantee short-term gain to already wealthy investors. Who are those people? Corporate owners and legislators who operate on the time line of quarterly profits v predictions or re-election season. Unless we learn quickly we and our system are doomed.

  • lndac02:

Agree with most of what you said, however a country like the US cannot wholly on development and innovation to employ a wide cross section of skills. for too long western economics has relied on people spending money to keep the economy moving. there is a debt factor built into this way of running a country. its time people started choosing home grown/made products to stuff made in china/india/anywhere else. China/India will end of running the west if we carry on in debt heaven

  • bitchaches:

It is more feasable to import good made abroad. we simply cannot compete with nations that have labor that is a fraction of our own. Do you tink we can succesfully make products while paying workers 10-20$/hr while someone in another countyr can do as good of a job being paid .10$ an hour?

what we have to do in the US is continue to lead the world in research, technology development and innovation. in addition to having realistic financial policies that doesnt thrive on consumerism.
